I have been a client of Dr Cullen's Dental Practice since he moved to Putney in about 1995. Previously I had been the victim of various dental butchers, who cumulatively had left my teeth in a sorry state over the previous 40 or so years.
Patrick Cullen has made an overwhelming difference. He has replaced or inserted bridges and crowns on 18 (eighteen) of my teeth during the last ten years. In addition he has removed and replaced all my former mercury-based fillings, and has discovered and arranged for the removal of two pieces of root left in from previous extractions by former dentists.
He is an excellent dentist for the following reasons:
- He is very concerned with bite (occlusion) as well as with individual teeth; this can be of profound importance for a pain-free mouth
- He is very aware of the very significant effect of teeth and gums on general health prevention
- He is aware of the effect of tension and teeth-grinding, and gives advice about prevention
- He is concerned about the effect of repeated X-rays, and has introduced the latest digital technology to reduce their potential side-effects
- He keeps up-to-date with the latest advances in dentistry, both technological and operational, and is an enthusiast for his subject
And he employs well-qualified hygienists who give you a hard time if you neglect to floss and brush regularly. I feel that you could not find better dentistry anywhere. I recommend him.
